I have been to Serbia a few times.

It is my husband’s home country, although many years ago he moved to Australia.  But during these years’ travelling around, we stopped here and lived here for quite some time.

Honestly I didn’t feel impressed at all for anything here,  we didn’t try to explore the surroundings that much, just in Belgrade; when we lived here for half year, we mostly spent time working on some project, and Serbia wasn’t on my list to dig further.

I was silly. Now I feel.  My attitude before made me not enjoy the life here and it was absolutely a waste of time.  I decide not to do that anymore.  No matter where I am or where I am going to be, I will open my eyes and open my heart to embrace what I can see, feel and experience.

Once I told myself this, I started to enjoy everyday life more and the city is much prettier than before.

Like Winston Churchill said “attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.”

I Can’t agree with him more.
